2006年4月23－25日，荷兰国际地球信息科学和地球观测学院（ITC）教授George Vosselman博士和助理教授Stephan Heuel博士访问我室，并面试了联合培养博士生候选人田一翔同学。测绘遥感信息工程国家重点实验室学术委员会主任李德仁院士亲切接见并宴请了来访客人。朱庆教授向客人详细介绍了虚拟地理环境（VGE）小组近年来的研究开发工作，并深入讨论了进一步加强双方学术交流和合作的有关事宜。

Prof. George Vosselman and Dr. Stephan Heuel visited our lab
Apr. 24, 2006, Prof. George and Dr. Stephan came to our lab and interviewed with Ms. TIAN Yixiang, a sandwich Ph.D student candidate. They also discussed with Prof. ZHU Qing about the evaluation of the candidate and the planned research and preparation of the next steps. Heretofore Prof. ZHU Qing introduced VGE group’s recent research & development work.

Prof. George Vosselman, Department of Earth Observation Science, International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation - ITC. Since 2005, he is Editor-in-Chief of the ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. Dr. Stephan Heuel is assistant professor of mobile and rapid mapping of the same department.
